A dressage rider for over 30 years, Andre has trained and successfully competed horses of different breeds including Arabians,  Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, Saddlebreds, Warmbloods, Hanoverians, and Friesians.  A popular clinician in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia, he also participates in charitable exhibitions and Musical Freestyle events.  While giving much credit to his dressage training with the late Major Hector Carmona and French Master jean Claude Racinet, he currently trains with German Bereiter, Alex Gerding.

A dedicated dressage instructor and judge, Andre emphasizes:

• Correct basics with positive feedback and encouragement
• Carefully matching instruction to the student's riding skills
• Total involvement, actively engaging the student
• Celebrating success - a clean transition or a Regional Championship
